Suzlon Group has landed its largest order of fiscal 2026—an 838 MW wind power project from Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL). The deal, Suzlon's second-largest ever, involves deploying 266 S144 turbines across three Indian states. Shares of both Suzlon and Tata Power showed muted early trading reactions.
The agreement extends a decade-long partnership between the renewable energy players. "This repeat order reflects our aligned vision for India's energy transition," said Suzlon Vice Chairman Girish Tanti, emphasizing the project's integration with national grid infrastructure. TPREL's selection of Suzlon technology underscores rigorous standards for reliability and execution.
